Also in the year 1942, Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, and his secretary Mahadev Desai along with Sarojini Naidu were imprisoned at Aga Khan Palace following the Quit India movement.


2.Sinhagad Fort

Located about 25KM away from the city of Pune, this hill fortress is 2000 years old as per the information available at this fort. Sinhagad which means ‘the fort of Lion’. Sinhagad is situated on the top of the cliff from where you can witness the captivating view of the beautiful Sahyadri.
